Margaret Ann Busch

Margaret Ann “Grandma Peggy” Busch, 85, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, in Napoleon, Ohio. She was born on August 23, 1939, to the late William and Olga (Miller) Kruse. She was a faithful member of Emanuel Lutheran Church of Napoleon for many years. She loved her family dearly and especially loved to take trips to her children’s and grandchildren’s houses for visits. Margaret was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and never missed a game. Being a mom and grandmother was her favorite pastime and gave her so much joy. She was very close to her neighbors and even had their own lunch group. Margaret had many hobbies including reading, puzzles and collecting angels. In her earlier years, she managed the Holiday Inn Hotel in Napoleon for 25 years and ended her working career with JBS Office Solutions. Margaret is survived by her children, Kim Middleton, Steve (Julie) Busch, and Rick (Amy) Busch; daughter-in-law, Andi Dalton; grandchildren, Trevor Busch, Dalton (Shayna) Middleton, Parker Middleton, Amanda (Robert) Myatt, Nate (Tiffany) Busch, Katie (Matt) Ludewig, Aleigh (Josh) Jewell, Christopher (Allison) Busch, Laura (Trey) Whitaker, and Michael (Kendall) Busch; 20 great grandchildren; siblings, Lester Kruse, Shirley (Robert) Walker, and Nancy Behnfeldt; sisters-in-law, Elvira Kruse and Sharon Kruse; brother-in-law, Robert Walker, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, Kevin Busch, and infant daughter, Vickie Busch; grandchild, Logan Busch; siblings, William Kruse, Norma Behrman, Arleen Bressler, Ronald Kruse, and Donna Kruse; sister-in-law, Dianne Kruse; brothers-in-law, Howard Behrman, Glen Bressler, and William Behnfeldt. Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 2-7pm. A funeral service for Margaret will be held on Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Napoleon at 11am, with an hour of visitation prior to services. A luncheon will take place at the church immediately following services, with interment at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance to follow at 2pm.
