Judee M. Suber

Judee M. Suber, 77, of Deshler, Ohio accepted her invitation to God's house on Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born April 28, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio and daughter of the late Lloyd and Ferrae (Ward) Longbrake. On August 26, 1961 she married Robert James Suber at the Deshler United Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2008. Judee was a 1956 graduate of Deshler High School and attended BGSU to study music education. She worked for over 4 years at Marathon Oil Company, Findlay. Her family moved to Hialeah, Florida and along with her husband she worked as the secretary of Hialeah Metal Spinning. They returned home to Deshler in 1975 to own and operate Deshler Metal Working. She was the current president of Suber Metal Spinning and Machine, Inc.; currently a 5th generation family business. Later in life, Judee furthered her education and received both her LPN and RN Licenses. She worked for Oak Grove Nursing Home, Wood County Hospital and Wood County Women's Care. She was a current member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler where she directed the children's musical programs. She was a former member of Deshler United Methodist Church where she was always active with the choir and helping play the organ. She was a member of the Patrick Henry Schools PTO; Parent Music Association; Athletic Boosters and constantly volunteering her time with the music department programs. In the community she was involved with Bridge Club; Children's Conservation League; Deshler Community Band and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 68. Judee enjoyed fireworks and was very patriotic on the 4th of July. She enjoyed baking, cooking, holding dinner parties, relaxing at her pool, and her beloved cat, Squeeky. Above all things though, Judee loved her family and they all adored her. She is survived by her children, Denise (Randy) Schlea, Gibsonsburg, Ohio; John Suber, Deshler; Peggy (Brent) Musser, Bryan, Ohio; Jim (Ladina) Suber, Deshler; Carl (Shannon) Engelhart, Larose, Louisiana; Delina Przemielewski, Findlay, Ohio; Kathy Suber, Deshler; eight grandchildren, Cole Gerdeman; Robert Suber, II; Mitchell Gerdeman; Allyson Musser; Alex Suber; Tabitha Musser; Nicole Schlea; Eric Schlea; two great grandchildren, Kassidy and Brylee Przemielewski. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler with Rev. David Coffin and Pastor James Creager officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. A luncheon will follow the interment at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-9 p.m., Friday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and from 10-11 a.m., Saturday at the church. The family suggests memorials be given to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Findlay Chapter or the Immanuel Lutheran Church. A special invitation is given to everyone to enjoy a celebration of fireworks in memory of Judee at 8 p.m., Saturday at her home in Deshler.
