William Joshua McCarthy

William Joshua McCarthy was born quietly into the world on February 17, 2022, at 6 pounds, 10.5 ounces and twenty inches long, with curly brown hair and blue eyes. He is the son of Nicholas and Jenelle (Hesterman) McCarthy and little brother to Maclyn Elaine. A precious soul taken far too soon from his loving family here on earth to join his waiting family in heaven. William is survived by his parents, Nicholas and Jenelle; sister, Maclyn; maternal grandparents, Todd (Christine) Hesterman and Tim (Karen) McCarthy; great grandparents, Ronald (Elaine) Hesterman, Rod (Margaret) Keech, and Janet McCarthy; and great great grandmother, Blake Shilling. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Justin (Jessi) Hesterman, Joseph (Bailey) Hesterman, and Zack (Jen Paiz) McCarthy; cousins, Nathaniel and Elizabeth Hesterman; and many great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Norman (Anneita) Bair and William McCarthy. Private funeral service for the family will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Township with interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers and gifts, William’s family requests the donations be made to Sufficient Grace Ministries, 407 S. Stearns Ave, Deshler, OH 43516 or to area hospitals for the purchase of Cuddle Cots, both of which allowed William’s family time to grieve his passing.
