Larry L. Zachrich, 74, of Napoleon, Ohio died suddenly Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Henry County Hospital. He was born on February 27, 1940 to the late Virgil and Alma (Fouty) Zachrich. On November 26, 1960, he married Diana Demaline in Liberty Center. As a young man, Larry joined his father in the family business, Zachrich's Trading Post within the shadows of the Henry County Court House. Later he became the sole owner and with his skilled eye for grading and buying furs and his solid business practices, the entrepreneur had buyers for his furs from literally around the world. His shop was also the welcome center for community members who regularly enjoyed the fellowship of one another. He was a long-time member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Napoleon. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, and most of all having a good laugh. He is survived by his wife, Diana; son, Brian (Tammy) Zachrich, of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughter, Kelly Zachrich, of Lewis Center, Ohio; grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew, and Andrew; sisters; Norma Hurst, Defiance and Barbara (Jack) D'Angelo, Napoleon; and his faithful canine companion, Molly . He was preceded in death by his sisters, Germaine Hatfield, and Joan Cutler and nephew, Josh D'Angelo. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. on Sunday, May 25 at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 26, at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon. Interment will be Tuesday, May 27 at 10 a.m. at Zion Cemetery, Wauseon. Very sorry to hear Larry pasted away ! He was a friend for many,many years and I'm glad I stopped in last November to say hello.....He will truly be missed, Marty Belding

Larry taught me so much about coon hunting such as what side of the tree to look for the coon depending on the wind and using shot gun shells to get them to look your knowledge was outta this world you will be forever missed till we meet again
