Hildegard Behrmann

Hildegard (Otte) Behrmann, 88, of Napoleon, Ohio died peacefully on Friday, April 8th at Northcrest Nursing Home with her husband by her side. She was born February 13, 1934 in Defiance County to the late John and Dora (Sundermann) Otte. On November 26, 1964 she married Lawrence Behrmann at St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp. Hildegard was a graduate of Ridgeville High School. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at LaChoy and was the cook at Triple 6 Restaurant. She also worked as a librarian for St. John Lutheran School and helped with the church scrapbook. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Freedom Twp. Church. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; son, Darrel; and siblings, Ed Otte and John Otte; nieces and nephews, Edwin (Hallie) Nagel, Sara (Craig) Rosenbeck, Norman Wagner, and Russel Wagner; and a great niece, Pheobe Rosenbeck. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Evelyn Nagel, Mildred Wagner, Lillian Otte, Melvin Otte, and Marie Otte. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 13th at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp., where visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
