Beverly Ann Jones Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Beverly Ann Jones, 90, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away on May 1, 2022 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice. She was born April 21, 1932 in McClure, Ohio to Abner and Emma (Boyd) Hoffman. Beverly married the love of her life, James E. Jones on December 9, 1951 at the United Brethren Church in McClure. Beverly was a 1950 graduate of Malinta-Grelton Schools. She had various jobs over the years, from a long distance operator to Nurses aide at Heller Memorial Hospital. Beverly was a cook and a volunteer student aide at Malinta-Grelton Schools. Many people will remember getting a cool summer treat from her at Tasty Freeze. Beverly was a long time supporter of 4H and volunteered with her church and other civic organizations. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Beverly is survived by her children, Michael (Bonnie) Jones, Jeannine (Alan) Fuhrhop, Valerie (Kenneth) Schulze, Thomas (Sharon) Jones, Wendy (John) Nashu, Annette (Edmund) Shotwell, and Jeff (Paula) Jones; 26 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren and 2 on the way. Also surviving are 3 sisters-in-law, Barbara Haydu, Marjorie Hameed, and Florence Steinem; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James; and brother, Eldon Hoffman. Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:30 AM with an hour of visitation prior to services. Interment will be held at Grelton Cemetery.
