Betty E. Guise Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Betty E. Guise, 89, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice. She was born June 7, 1932, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Samuel and Avis (Chadwick) Phillips. On May 8, 1948, she married Thomas D. Guise in Angola, Indiana. Betty worked at the Murphey’s store and later at Spangler Candy Company in Bryan. After retirement she and Tom moved to Leesburg, Florida for 16 years before returning back to Napoleon. They enjoyed playing cards at the Eagles and Moose Lodge with their friends. Betty is survived by her daughter, Sandra (James) Dickman; grandchildren, Christopher (Karen) Hulbert, Shanna Sidle, and Andrea (Scott) Damman; great grandchildren, Zachary (Karlie) Hulbert, Austin Hulbert, Madison (Sheldon) Burke, Logan Sidle, Garrett Sidle, Cody Damman, Carson Damman, and Caden Damman; three step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; son-in-law, Steve Hulbert; and brother Samuel Phillips. Funeral Services will be private at a later date.
