Anna Ruth Bolen

August 29, 1941 - April 26, 2022

Anna Ruth Bolen, 80, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born August 29, 1941, in Fonde, Kentucky, the sixth of eleven children of Chester and Mable (Bryant) Partin. On November 24, 1961, she married Bobby Bolen in Adrian, Michigan. Anna was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Napoleon Eagles Lodge #4428. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and gardening, as long as it didn’t interfere with playing cards. Anna only recently had to cancel playing in local Euchre tournaments due to her health. She was an avid collector of Longaberger Baskets and Hallmark ornaments. Anna and Bobby enjoyed traveling all over the world. She is survived by her children, Linda (Bob) Norris and Tim (Angela) Bolen; grandchildren, Kyle Norris, Corey Norris, Kaitlin Norris, Zoe Bolen, and Cody Bolen; great grandson, Dillon Norris; and faithful canine companion, Penny. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband Bobby. Friends and family will be received at Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon, on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
