Lorrie Ann Diemer

Lorrie Ludeman-Diemer, born in Toledo, Ohio, and raised in Napoleon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her brother, Jim Ludeman; her sons, Jeramy Ludeman and David Ludeman; her daughter-in-law, Trudy Ludeman; and her cherished grandchildren, Breanna, Elliot, Jahnna, and Callie Ludeman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burdett Blair “Curly” Ludeman and Irene Eichinger-Ludeman. Adopted into the Ludeman family as a child, Lorrie had a happy upbringing in Napoleon and graduated from Napoleon High School. She pursued cosmetology, earning her license, all while embracing motherhood and raising her two beloved sons. Throughout her career, Lorrie wore many hats, working in retail before taking on the adventure of truck driving. Earning her CDL allowed her to travel across the country, experiencing life in different states and meeting countless people—something she loved as a naturally social person. Eventually, she returned to Napoleon, where she focused on raising her boys and later found immeasurable joy in becoming a grandmother. Her grandchildren were her greatest pride, and she never missed an opportunity to brag about them. In the early 2000s, Lorrie’s life was forever changed by a motorcycle accident, leading to ongoing health challenges. Despite these difficulties, the love and support of her sons and grandchildren gave her strength. One of Lorrie’s lifelong wishes was to connect with her biological family. In the last decade of her life, she found them and formed a close bond with her newfound sisters. This discovery brought her a sense of identity and fulfillment she had long searched for. Lorrie had a passion for life’s simple pleasures—strong coffee, root beer flavors, her beloved dogs, and a good laugh. She enjoyed music, dark chocolate, anything with peanut butter, and her favorite comfort foods, butter and bread. She loved the outdoors, spending time fishing, camping, and hiking. Above all, she treasured time with family and friends, always seeking connection and joy. Lorrie’s memory will forever be held in the hearts of those who loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at Crossroads Church, 601 Bonaparte Dr, Napoleon, OH 43545, on Saturday, March 1st, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
