Judy Ann Austermiller

Judith “Judy” Ann Austermiller, 67, of Malinta received her full healing when she met Jesus in Heaven on May 31st, 2024 at 1:35 AM. She was born in Napoleon, OH June 19th, 1956 to the late Leland and Marion (Knepley) Brubaker. She graduated from Napoleon High School in 1974. On February 1st, 1974 she married Marvin Austermiller of Florida, OH. They lived in Florida, OH and Napoleon, OH then finally settling in rural Malinta, OH in 1985 in a house they constructed together where she remained until her death. She worked as an aid at Filling Home of Mercy in Napoleon, OH from 1972 until 1982 when she quit to become a full-time mom and homemaker. She was a super wife, mom, and grandma, always putting her family and others first. Late in 1982 she received Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and lived for Him until her death. She lived her life always putting Jesus first, family second, then others, and herself last. In 1995, she and her family began attending Harvest Fellow Church and continued there until her death. She loved garage sales, flea markets, and thrift stores. She had a special knack for finding valuable items for chump change. She loved to clip coupons, saving her family thousands of dollars over her lifetime, but never spending money on herself, only on family, house, or others. She also loved puzzles, crafts, and plants, but focused mostly on family. She was preceded in death by her parents, younger sister, Mary Brubaker, and daughter-in-law, Kristen Austermiller. She is survived by her husband Marv; children, Sarah (Travis) Crum, Elizabeth (Jason) Kruse, Aaron Austermiller, and Adam Austermiller; grandchildren, Ashley (Nik) Shay, Kadence (Dallas) Fyfe, Kayla Kruse, Parker Kruse, and Lily Austermiller; great grandchildren, Addi Fyfe, Easton Fyfe; sisters, Linda (Ron) Ferner, and Sue Kistner. She will be sorely missed. Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral home, Napoleon on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A celebration of life service will be held Friday June 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Harvest Fellowship Hamler OH with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials contributions may be made to the Harvest Fellowship Church, Gideons, Heartland Hospice, or doner's choice.
