Deborah "Deb" Ann Weirauch

Deborah Ann Weirauch, 69 of Napoleon, went home to the Lord on September 20, 2024. She was born in Napoleon on April 25, 1955, to the late Robert and Esther (Mohring) Dennie. On December 19,1976, she married the late Rev. Mark Allen Weirauch at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, and they were blessed with a short 19 years together. Service to others and community improvement was important to Deb as she led a life of service and caring for others. She was a caring member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Napoleon, where she spent many years as a catechism teacher as well as a co-founder of the health ministry. She spent her life working in the medical and health field as a Registered Nurse at The Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, being a homemaker for her kids, and retired from the Fulton County Health Department in 2021. Deb was a supporter of the Napoleon High School Band Boosters, the Northwest Ohio Gymnastics Academy Twisters and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Deb also loved all sorts of crafts, but especially knitting. She made friends and families prayer shawls, hats, scarves, socks, and much more. She loved her family and friends and cared for them throughout her life. She is survived by her children, Rachel (Neil) Sosebee, Andrew (Catherine) Weirauch, and Kristin (Robert) Staton; grandchildren, Henry Sosebee, Lucy Sosebee, Dylan Weirauch, Levi Weirauch and Ruby Weirauch; brothers, Phillip (Karen) Dennie, Thomas (Sandra) Dennie, Steven (Debra) Dennie, and Jeffrey (Dianna) Dennie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Esther as well as her husband Mark Weirauch. A Memorial Service will be held for Deb at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Napoleon, on November 2, 2024, at 11:30am with an hour of visitation prior to services. Inurnment will take place immediately after the service at Forest Hill Cemetery with a meal at the church to follow. Charitable giving was important to Deb.
