Beverly (Wilhelm) Wade

Beverly Jane Wade, 63, of Lakeview, Ohio and formerly of Weston, Ohio passed away, Friday morning, December 29, 2017 in her home, with her husband by her side. She was born August 18, 1954 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Arthur "Slick" and Berneita (Williams) Wilhelm. On June 2, 1984 she married Steven Wade in Grand Rapids, Ohio and he survives. Bev was a Bowling Green High School graduate and her lifelong passion was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge and particualry active with the Indian Lake Eagles Lodge. She was very creative not just as an amazing painter and decorator, but she was very skilled around her home and yard. She always had a sense of humor she shared with an abundance of friends. She enjoyed baking and cooking her family's and friend's favorites whenever they would get together. She loved to entertain others, dancing, boating, camping and cooking over fires. She always seemed to put her loved ones first, and her family and friends and those in need remained her priority. She was always supportive and a great listener, the "go-to" person and "Second Mom" for so many. Her family remembers her favorite catch phrase "Steven Please!". She adored her "grandbabies" and could keep them weeks at a time to spoil them rotten. Her teachings to her children and grandchildren where to be strong, do your best, love unconditionally and have a relationship with God. She is survived by her husband, Steve; children, Rodney (Beth) Wade, Florence, Kentucky; Kevin Wade, Custar, Ohio; Melissa (Kristofer) Hepfinger, Clearwater, Florida; Erica (Kyle) Wheeler, Rossford, Ohio; grandchildren, Gavin; Ethan; Paige; Aubrey; Addison; Rhiannon; Rylan; Brookson; sisters, Rosaline (Ronald "Doby") Johnson, Deshler, Ohio; Dinese Wilhelm, McComb, Ohio; Debra (Martin) Cherry, Black Hawk, South Dakota; brothers, Keith (Betsy) Wilhelm, Bowling Green and Thomas (Nadine) Wilhelm, Custar. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Wilhelm and niece, Alyssa Wilhelm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Fr. Art Niewiadomski officiating. A fellowship luncheon will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
