Beverly Germann

Beverly Jane Germann, 86 of Napoleon, Ohio died on December 17, 2022, at Genacross Lutheran Nursing Home. She was born on August 10, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Wilmetta (Beck) Krum. On February 3, 1957, she married Eldon Paul “Germie” Germann at St. Paul Lutheran Flatrock Church. They were married for 40 years, and he preceded her in death on August 15, 1997, two weeks before their first grandchild was born. Beverly was a 1954 graduate from Napoleon High School. She worked at the Henry County Courthouse for over 20 years and retired from there. She loved the women she used to work with. Bev was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, where she taught Sunday School and helped out in the treasurer’s office for many years. Beverly belonged to many card clubs and had many friends. She loved St. Paul Lutheran Church and school. Her family consisted of a sister, Janet (Jack) Evers and their families: Jerry (Diana) Evers and Jodi (James) Tuinier. She also had very close in-law family members: Dewey and Denelda Ehlers, Norman and Delores Behnfeldt; George and Darlene Haase, Larry and Nancy Germann, Ed and Linda Fulde and many nieces and nephews and their families. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She had three children: a deceased infant daughter, Bradley (Bernice) who died in July 2012, and Vicki (Scott) Waisner. She is survived by her grandchildren: Michael (Alyssa Norden), Jennifer, and Jason Waisner. Beverly was very proud of her grandchildren and loved them so much! She was a huge part of their lives. Her sister-in-law (Delores Behnfeldt) used to say “She is just a peach.” Beverly was a very nice and sweet person. She was always happy and smiling. She always saw the good side of every situation and was always positive. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, where visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flatrock Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Napoleon, Ohio. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rodenbergergray.com.
